Gbemisola Adeojo


Gbemisola is a fellow of the Institute of chartered accountants of Nigeria. She qualified as a chartered accountant in November 1989. She also holds an MBA from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile –Ife.

In addition she a certified microfinance banker. A compulsory professional requirement of the Central Bank  of Nigeria.

Her professional career has been wide and varied. She worked as an articled clerk with Arthur Young Osindero , which later merged to become Ernst , Young Osindero, Oni. She left as an audit senior.

In the field of accountancy she worked in RANK Xerox as the treasury manager and later as Operations accountant.

Her banking career commenced with Universal trust bank where she worked as cash officer, and credit officer.  She moved on to Gulf bank plc as head – TQM (Total quality management).

In Gulf bank she was moved to the business development unit where she set up the money transfer unit of the Bank. She was seconded to the North American office to set up and run the North American operations in the areas of money transfer which competed with Money Gram and Western Union.

She later moved to EIB international Bank as the Head, Foreign exchange:- treasury.

At consolidation (January 2006) she became the branch manager of one of the “model’ branches of skye bank. Her achievements in the retail and commercial banking propelled her to be appointed as the Area manager for the one of the mainland areas of skye bank. she was later head hunted by spring bank to head the Ikeja operations of the bank in June 2008.

She left spring bank as an AGM and regional head –Ikeja region in December 2009.

She is currently the Managing Director/CEO of Manna microfinance Bank. A position she has held since January 2010. In addition she is the majority shareholder of the bank.

The bank has operated successfully and is still in operation. The Bank operates from Mushin area of Lagos state.

The bank is a Unit bank as per Central Bank categorization.
